Museum of Alkibiades Skoulas

The Museum of Alkibiades Skoulas is located in Anogia village. It includes a small collection which belonged to Alkibiades Skoulas, a folklore artist from Anogia. In Zoniana village, near Anogia, you can find another interesting museum, the Wax Museum Potamianou. The wax museum in Zoniana covers 1000m2 and includes 104 wax figures of personages related to the history of Crete since the Arab occupation (9th century). The museum also organizes annual and periodical exhibitions.
